After garnering massive appreciation for his performance in political drama, West Wing, Dulé Hill went on to achieve more milestone as a thespian.

His appearance alongside actor James Roday in comedy police procedural ‘Psych’ was not only well received by the fans, but by critics as well.

Currently, the funny sidekick of Roday’s character is making headlines for his upcoming short film titled ‘Nostalgia’.

The film touted to make the directorial debut of Johnnie Hobbs III won’t see Hill playing the lead role, however his character will start off of dramatic conflicts in it.

The dance flick is about an estranged condition of living legend who has to juggle between his passion for music and love for young women.

Hill will be seen as the loving son of the man, who reminisces the good old days when he had a glorious life off and on the stage.

I don’t have any idea whether people still watch West Wing episodes online or not, but one thing I can guarantee is, that all Hill’s followers would love to catch the upcoming dance movie as and when hits the theaters.

Apart from the noted TV star, ‘Nostalgia’ would see some topnotch celebrities from the world of dance including Johnnie Hobbs Jr., Chloe Arnold and Jason Samuels Smith among others.

The project, after wrapping up production this summer, would be screened at different film festivals. And once it is released for fests, I don’t think any delay would incur in terms of its global distribution.

With a rising star like Dulé Hill, director Johnnie Hobbs has certainly hit the jackpot, and now it remains to be seen how well the audiences respond to his casting.

Meanwhile, speculation is on that Hill would soon learn to master the art of tap dancing because the movie is a gem of a fictional tale on this genre of performing arts.

Have you heard of the new talent in the US literary industry? Now, now don’t tell me you haven’t. I mean, publishing houses have already accepted him as the breakthrough publishing star of the year.

Well, sad if you couldn’t get that, but we talking about none else than the author of this year’s New York Times bestseller, “Stories I Only Tell My Friends,” Rob Lowe, the actor celebrated for his political character from The West Wing episodes.

His book had been appreciated by critics, who certified it as a work surpassed standards of a regular candy celebrity book in terms of humor and wit.

The book has spent months as a best seller now, and readers would be fascinated to know that Lowe has more words in store for them.

Sevenths months after his first venture with the pen, he has entered into another deal with Simon & Schuster for a book, “Love Life” that will capture his dive into depths of love, marriage, sex, fatherhood, work and sports.

Having led quite a movie like life, Lowe certainly has a lot of personal experiences for the world to know about, and this book would give him an opportunity to come out with his own observation on this rather complex yet interesting aspect of human companionship and beyond.

His first book was a memoir of how Lowe made it to a teen idol at the tender age of fifteen, founder of the Brat Pack and international icon by twenty and one of the most successful Hollywood stars of the day.

The book had given us unforgettable narrations from Lowe on his pained childhood at Ohio to his plunge into Hollwood against the counter seventies culture in Malibu.

I understand that the adjective evergreen comes unexpected with a name like Rob Lowe. Just roll back your mind to the time when Rob Lowe played the cool federal Communications Director, who props up the moment, you sit back to watch The West Wing online.

He looked young, charming, dashing…Excuse Me! That’s enough – the writer here is a male, for God’s sake.

In a duller tone, back in those days of this famous role of his, he had to escape the ladies pouncing on him everywhere he went. They thought Sam (Rob Lowe) was simply a killer with his kind of looks!

Accepted?

Ok, well and good.

Now, it’s been twelve years since Lowe started off with that role, but he looks even better. Did you see the actor at the taping of the 2011 CMT Artists of the Year, looking more stunning and younger than ever on the red carpet? I did, and here’s the impact – all that I am jotting down in sheer amazement.

Well, if you download his show, or the snaps from that 29th November night at Nashville, you will know what this actor is made of.

He looked twenty years younger, as if he was 27 instead of 47. For a moment, he really got everyone around pinch themselves to realize that it wasn’t year 1985, and Rob wasn’t walking the red carpet for St. Elmo’s Fire.

His looks got his fans and the media curious to find out if Rob had opted for an artificial option to look good till the end.

Rob humbly quenched all their curiosity by expressing his wish against a plastic surgery, and his fearlessness at losing his killer looks with age, clearly cautioning men against Botox-usage.

He has two teenagers at home, and engages in cool outdoor sports, and attributes his looks to them. Great, that sounds nice Rob!

Josiah Edward Bartlet (more popular as Jed), the U.S. president depicted in The West Wing episodes is a character that the entire American democracy mesmerized.

Each and every American out there wanted a president like Bartlet, and when they elected Obama to power, they no doubt prayed that he turns out to be a leader embodied with traits similar to those of the fictional president played by Martin Sheen.

In other words, Jed’s character was the symbol of a perfect president for the world power, and so it made Martin Sheen’s opinion about President Obama to be of utmost important.

In stark contrast to opinions about the president from liberals like Michael Moore and Matt Damon, Martin Sheen (Jed) finds him special and adorable.

As per Sheen, Obama is doing a commendable job and the recent criticisms that were showered on him (Obama) were hardly meaningful.

Sheen feels that if the economy is not bouncing back on time, it is more because of the increasing number of people out of work. He makes it clear that holding the President solely responsible for the decline in employment opportunities isn’t ethical at all.

American MNC’s and Corporate Giants have been avoiding investments in the country to maximize their profit margins. Off-shore investments have been aiding them reduce cost of production and increase their annual profits.

Sheen feels that instead of worrying about profits all the time, they can consider the economical situation and invest in the country for a change.

Only then will there arise sufficient employment opportunities to revive the economy.

That was well said for sure! Critics should know that anything happening with the economy is more an effect of extreme capitalism and that it isn’t a mixed economy, where the president can intervene with his laws to turn national investments compulsory for U.S. entrepreneurs.

A single stint with actors and producers from Bollywood and Rob Lowe, the famous actor known for his role in the political TV series The West Wing, is ready with a plan of creative amalgamation.

Once we watch The West Wing online, we become assured of the potential the Canadian actor keeps.

The actor was recently cast in the role of a rink manager and a hockey coach in the Indo-Canadian film, Breakaway. The movie deals with the aspirations and rebellious struggles of a young Indo-Canadian kid who aspires to win the hockey championship.

The plot goes deeper to find out the way it feels to break free from the father-son bond and tread on an independent path all alone.

Rob’s two sons, who have already started traveling on career paths of their own, could probably relate to the plot.

Vinay Virmani plays the character of the kid who when rejected by a local team, flushes away his parent’s dream and sets up his own South Asian hockey team to clinch the championship title.

Somehow, Rob feels that the entire Indian and Bollywood exposure could help him tie up with the Eastern creators to churn out award-winning blockbusters.

For him, this was an opportunity of a lifetime to know how things work in the Bollywood industry and get acquainted with their levels of creativity.

And most importantly, Rob is now a part owner of the huge Miramax Film Library. His teaming up with Indian and Canadian filmmakers to download big bucks isn’t a bad idea at all!

Rob Lowe is proud that his sons could manage things as serious as something like ‘those’; he points out that their choice of career has always been their own.

The TV series, The West Wing, brought a lot of popularity to the actor. The West Wing download continues to be the most favored thing among his fans, even though it’s been five years since the show ended.

Apart from that, his contribution to cancer victims, Haitian earthquake victims and to patients of drug and alcohol abuse brought him those silent blessings straight from the heart.

Robe Lowe recently got his divine message just when he was in a hurry to wrap up the shooting schedules for a movie.

While shooting for The Drew Peterson Story, a television movie with the nickname The Windy City in Chicago, the actor refused to give in to the bad weather predictions that were evident enough for the crew to understand but not for the lead actor.

When Rob insisted to go ahead with the day’s work, the director had little choice, but to reluctantly give in to his demands.

While filming a sequence where Rob had to walk across a parking lot, a strong wind picked a large brush and shot it at the actor. Rob was immediately knocked down to the ground midway.

Robe Lowe certainly had the entire crew rushing up to him to find out that he just met with a few scratches; he certainly must have understood that no matter how big an actor he was, he had no options but to bow down in front of Nature.

The most famous fictional U.S. president on TV, Martin Sheen, told reporters that he will not run for President of Ireland. For all The West Wing fans, face of Martin Sheen has been synonymous with the U.S. President, as he plays Josiah Bartlet.

A huge response to a social network group started all this hype. Martin, who is a citizen of Ireland, said he was flattered, but had absolutely no intentions to run for the coveted post.

It seems that fans will have to remain content by watching reruns of The West Wing episodes.
It’s not the first time that Sheen had resisted political encouragement!

Earlier, he had turned down a request to run for U.S. Senate in Ohio, the place where he was born. Sheen, who is well-known for his support for liberal political causes, made these comments at an event, when he and his son Emilio Estevez, were honored in Illinois, with the declaration of August 19th as Sheen Day by Governor Pat Quinn.

Estevez and Sheen also promoted their new movie, The Way. In the film, Sheen portrays an American doctor, who goes to France to claim the body of his son, who was on a pilgrimage from France to Spain.

Martin gained early fame in films such as Apocalypse Now and The Missiles of October, but is best known for his television role as fictional U.S. president Josiah “Jed” Bartlet in The West Wing.

He played the character of an ideal president, who personified honesty, courage, depth and imagination that citizens seek in their leader. This show threw light on the sacrifices that our Presidents have to make in order to fulfill their duty.

Maybe, Sheen thinks politics is not his cup of tea and wants to devote his time to acting. And that’s what we love about him - his dedication.
