Hey, you the fans of Kristin Chenoweth, it’s the time for you to send your heartiest wishes to her! Many of you might have liked her role on The West Wing and the rest would have liked her on Pushing Daisies. The femme-fatale has done such a brilliant job on both of the series and has left no stone unturned. And, as of now, her already shining profile and long list of accomplishments gets another star*.

How? Hey buddies….the lady, Oklahoma-born, has received an Emmy Nomination in the category of outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series nod for her work on “Pushing Daisies”, an ABC Network series. She received the nomination for her role of Olive Snook who was a waitress at Ned’s restaurant and was also the next door neighbor to him. The lady had feelings for Ned and knew the secret of Chuck’s existence. And, when she came to know that Lily was Chuck’s mother, she found herself getting overwhelmed by the secrets. Ultimately, she decided to quit Pie Hole. The circumstances got her back to the restaurant. Emerson used to call her ‘Itty-bitty’ as she was so short. In the end of Pushing Daisies, we saw her opening a restaurant to make Macaroni and Cheese. So, it was the description of the character which led Kristin Chenoweth to Emmy nomination list. Hey… she was such a sweet girl that she never dared to expose her feelings to Ned and kept all that within her only. No doubts… it was such a touchy character.
The thing which makes me wonder is why she didn’t receive a nomination for her appearance on ‘The West Wing’. She deserves an Emmy for that role also.
Well, let’s begin a poll here. What do you think would she be able to win an Emmy Award for her role on Pushing Daisies or we guys would be left with a melancholy ‘Ahhh… if she could have been nominated for The West Wing role’. Give your votes right now.
Meanwhile, you can watch and download the episodes of ‘The West Wing’ and thousands of other popular American, Canadian and British TV shows.

‘West Wing’ was really a popular show, focusing on reality of the political gallery. Most of the episodes focused on the various legislative and political issues which President Barlet and his underwent. The series caught the attention of the common man as it told the tale of the scandals, the manipulations and the secrets hidden behind the bright and charming personalities of our politicians.

The situations covered in the storyline were almost always comparable with the political issues that were most important in the days when the series was being aired. After the presidential elections in 2000, when the republican President George W. Bush came to power, the audiences felt uncertain about the continuation of the show as they wondered if the show would retain its topicality. However all the speculations were put to rest when the show continued with its successful journey and even focused on many such issues which were most talked about in those days.
The show gives a sneak peak into not only the behind the door negotiations of the people in power with the Congress but also the personal issues of the politicians like their sex life and drug use. Many people compared one of the scandals associated with President Barlet in the story, with the most controversial Monika Lewinsky scandal associated with President Bill Clinton in real life. The subplot revolved around the immense pressure felt by Presidential staff, because of President Barlet’s non disclosure of his illness to the electorate. He was shown to be suffering from sclerosis and was investigated by the opposition and accused of defrauding the public. The subplot ended with President Barlet eventually accepting the Congressional censure.
The entire series showcased many such scandals and issues in its main storyline as well as the subplots which resembled the real life American political scenes to a great extent. The whole series was quite interesting and the viewers had their eyes transfixed on their TV sets during the airing of the episodes. It is really sad that the series could not continue airing after its seventh season.

Name of Aaron Sorkin is not new to TV viewers; the man is the one who created the very popular NBC drama ‘The West Wing‘. Latest news is exploring that, as of now, Aaron is writing the script for the new George Clooney courtroom drama ‘The Challenge’. Clooney would be directing the project and chances are that he’d also play Navy lawyer Charles Swift.

Well, when Aaron’s name becomes involved with any project, expectations are always high…. Who can forget The West Wing! It ran for seven consecutive seasons and each one was, by all odds, better than the previous one…. . We continued expecting better from The West Wing and they people always did more than our expectations.
I still remember the day when we last watched the West Wing, it was May 14, 2008 and the season seven finale was entitled ‘Tomorrow’. It was the series finale episode and really served its purpose as a series ender. Here, we saw that the Bartlet Administration was preparing to leave White House and also the west wing. Santos and his gang were gearing up, somehow nervously, for the presidential inauguration. We also saw that Santos planned to make Baker the vice-president thorough the Twenty-fifth Amendment. And, in the last minutes of his presidency, Bartlet pardoned Toby.

And, it was the end of that awesome drama. The West Wing became identification for NBC Network and the ratings and appreciation it got is still better than several other NBC shows. Approximately, 150 episodes were aired during the series run and all were very entertaining. For me, series episodes were means to relax and to forget all worries and tensions etc. I just skipped an episode of second season as it was my exam on that day. The very next day, I downloaded it and watched so that I’d not have to get lost… what & why?
There’ve been rumors of The West Wing sequel from time to time but nothing has ever been finalized by the creators. But, the idea is really great and I really want The West Wing TV show to return in form of a sequel or a movie etc.

Many of you’ll identify Kristen Chenoweth as ‘The West Wing’s Annabeth Schott and some will recognize her as Pushing Daisies’s Olive Snook. Well, no issues. It’s she and it doesn’t matter with which role she attracted you. After all, both are her performances. Lady performed well on both of the TV shows and very soon, we’ll catch her on Big Screen.

Nowadays, the lovely drama ‘Pushing Daisies’ is on the verge of cancellation and no one has any clue regarding its future. Even, the star cast of series is also not sure. That’s not of our business but I’ve written it to tell you that when Pushing Daisies is dealing with troubles, star cast has started to move to some other projects in order to secure their future. And the recent news is that Kristen Chenoweth, aka Annabeth Schott of ‘The West Wing’ will be seen in a movie named ‘Four Christmases’ along with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon. She’ll play Reese Witherspoon’s jealously competitive sister in the movie. Let’s see how she attracts the stares of everyone through her breathtaking performance.
Her portrayal of Annabeth Schott is still in my mind. She joined the Bartlet administration in the sixth season of series and helped the department to complete its various projects with her intelligence and super skills. I still remember the incident when she was selected by the First Lady as her press secretary after Leo’s death and the election of Matt Santos as president.

Her good-looks helped her to become heartthrob of every fan and I too became her fan after I watched her performing Annabeth Schott on ‘The West Wing’. She really rocked on ‘The West Wing’. After series’ cancellation, she moved towards ‘Pushing Daisies’ and now when it’s also on the verge of cancellation, she has full plans to shake the Big screen with her marvelous performance. Before I leave, I’d like to share another interesting fact about her with you buddies. Do you know, her initial name was Kristi and she changed it as Kristin… yep, these are the celebrity styles!
