Hey, you the fans of Kristin Chenoweth, it’s the time for you to send your heartiest wishes to her! Many of you might have liked her role on The West Wing and the rest would have liked her on Pushing Daisies. The femme-fatale has done such a brilliant job on both of the series and has left no stone unturned. And, as of now, her already shining profile and long list of accomplishments gets another star*.

How? Hey buddies….the lady, Oklahoma-born, has received an Emmy Nomination in the category of outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series nod for her work on “Pushing Daisies”, an ABC Network series. She received the nomination for her role of Olive Snook who was a waitress at Ned’s restaurant and was also the next door neighbor to him. The lady had feelings for Ned and knew the secret of Chuck’s existence. And, when she came to know that Lily was Chuck’s mother, she found herself getting overwhelmed by the secrets. Ultimately, she decided to quit Pie Hole. The circumstances got her back to the restaurant. Emerson used to call her ‘Itty-bitty’ as she was so short. In the end of Pushing Daisies, we saw her opening a restaurant to make Macaroni and Cheese. So, it was the description of the character which led Kristin Chenoweth to Emmy nomination list. Hey… she was such a sweet girl that she never dared to expose her feelings to Ned and kept all that within her only. No doubts… it was such a touchy character.

The thing which makes me wonder is why she didn’t receive a nomination for her appearance on ‘The West Wing’. She deserves an Emmy for that role also.

Though he has portrayed the character of a president for a longtime, the man has no interest in politics.    Yeah, I am talking about Martin Sheen, the man who portrayed the character of Josiah Edward “Jed” Bartlet on popular NBC Network series ‘The West Wing‘. From the beginning of the show to the series finale, we saw him playing the role of the President of the United States and his journey, as a president, came to an end after his heir took over.

Very recently, Martin Sheen has made it clear that he’s not interested in politics and has rejected the chance to be a part of real politics. Martin confessed it in front of the Oxford Union saying that it’s not possible for him to sit in meetings all day.  It was 2004, when a delegation of Democrats from Ohio approached Martin to offer him a chance to run for the Senate Seat. Martin rejected the offer saying ‘it was a tempting offer’.

According to Martin, it’s the lack of aptitude which blocks his way to enter politics and he also has no intentions of following the footprints of other actors. He said, “We already had an old actor in national politics, and it didn’t work out so well. He shall remain nameless”. During the speech, Martin also added that “Acting is what I do for a living. Activism is what I do to stay alive.”

Being a political activist, Martin has been arrested as many as 66 times. He was most recently apprehended in 2007 in Nevada for trespassing on a nuclear test facility.

The above confession of Martin has made me give him more respect and regard. As an actor, he has proved himself by successfully portraying any role even though it might not be of his interest or a character which he can’t even think about adopting in his real life. If you think that I misspelled the whole thing, then you are wrong. One of your favorite series, ‘The West Wing‘, which had ended in 2006, will be back. But the series will be back with a complete new look. This time ‘The West Wing’ will entertain its viewers, but in the form of an animation. This announcement was made by Aaron Sorkin, the creator of the series.

On the day two of the 2008 San Diego SorCon, Aaron Sorkin, in front of 30,000 fans announced that “I’m excited to bring my Emmy Award-winning writing to the field of animation”, making the crowd go wild. His new show has been tentatively named “The West Wing: The Santos Administration”. After making this announcement, Sorkin stressed on the fact that the main reason behind doing another West Wing, is staying true to his fans. He also said that while doing this animation series, he would make sure that everyone’s favorite characters and policy issues from the first series fall in right place.

After completing his speech, a four minute clip from the pilot episode of “The West Wing: The Santos Administration” was screened. He then explained the ideas behind the show. This animation series will start after almost two years, from the time the last episode of the series was aired. The animated version will focus on President Matt Santos as he deals with his party’s crushing defeat in the midterm elections and his advisers’ struggle with the death of President Jed Bartlet, who finally succumbed to complications from multiple sclerosis.

All the fans who have been waiting for the show to get restarted, their wait has finally come to an end. Though no final date for the premier has been decided, but I am sure that this news in itself that the series will be restarted calls for a cheer.

I hope you still remember West Wing star cast, as it’s not easy to forget about the stars of your favorite series. If you do remember, then obviously, you also know what Bradley Whitford.

Appeared on series as a regular member playing Josh Lyman. This role brought him an Emmy award. With series concluded stars are also usually forgotten. It may be the case with you but I am not such a person and I am still in touch with stars of the series and their lives. It helps me in giving you latest gossip about the celebrities.

Today, the exciting news is that former West Wing star Bradley Whitford is ready to rock on Boeing- Boeing. Honestly, I was not planning for Boeing-Boeing but now, I will think about it as Bradley Whitford is one of my favorite TV stars and I am not in a mood to skip him. I think the idea is cool…… after all, he deserves that. His appearance on series made him a house-hold name, including mine house, of course

It’s the benefit to keep yourself in touch with past as future comes out of past. West Wing is the past and Boeing -Boeing is the future .. finally the present is Bradley Whitford. Have a nice day!!! Not to you only…. Me too ha ha ha

I love The West Wing series not only for of its plot and quotes but also for show’s relevance to the real life. The West Wing is a kind of series which always tries to set an example for the citizens and it also guides us how and by whom the country should be run. When I finished watching ‘Isaac and Ishmael’, I felt that series was awesome. I had never watched anything of this sort. This particular episode was aired to pay a tribute to the victims of September 11 terrorist attacks.

In this episode, the White House is sealed as an employee is suspected of being a terrorist. John Spencer and his team, gets down for investigating the case. On the very same day, a group of high school overachievers is visiting the White House.The scenes when the group discusses who terrorists are and why they hate America are a bit painful. I think the character of Martin Sheen is mature and principled. Well, in this episode it was good to see White House residents such as President and First Lady participating in discussion which was held to find out the reasons behind terrorism.

Some issues such as fear, race and vengeance are very well tackled by the episode. The most notable issue of this episode is an analogy written on the board by Josh: “Islamic extremism is to Islam as KKK is to Christianity”. Some special picks from special episode for you guys-
