The West Wing season 3 was debuted on 10-10-2001 and the opening episode was entitled as ‘Manchester: Part 1. The principal story line of season 3 begins exactly from the point where we gave on the end of second season. During the third season, series dealt with various international issues as such unrest ness in Haiti; threatening disappearance of a nuclear submarine in North Korean waters; and assassination of terrorist foreign secretary of Qumar. Later on, Donna doesn’t get cleared during a security check up as she’s technically not a citizen of US. Season was wrapped up on 5-22-2002 with the episode entitled ‘Posse Comitatus’. As the season ends, there’s a tense showdown between Bartlet’s staff and president’s chief Republican antagonist, Robert Ritchie.

The White House is decorated with holiday decorations whereas the staff is dealing with threats to firebomb black churches in Tennessee on Christmas Eve. Leo is going to testify himself in front of the committee concerning the non-disclosure of MS issue. Very surprisingly, Leo gets a reprieve at the last minute.
